What is Bearcat Science?

If you are a freshman or a senior enrolled at Whitesboro High School and you have Mr. White as your Biology or Aquatic Science teacher then you have found the right place. I will post homework assignments, movies, notes, and slides here for people to use in making up absences. I will also occasionally post things that will grant you bonus points so get in the habit of checking in.

How do I use it?

Look under the classroom links. 5th period Aquatic Science is #1 and 6th period is #2. Biology is ordered according to periods of the day. Click on those links to be taken to the interactive lesson sites. Any assignments that you find on your page will be graded and you are responsible for them. Click on an assignment and log in with the name and password you were given in class. If you are absent and wish to make up your work, the assignment list is located under the homework link. If you miss a video or interactive and need to make up the assignment, look under movies.

Whats in it for me?

Once in a while I will post questions or phrases that are worth bonus points on the quizes. I will also put up funny or interesting movies that you can watch for extra credit. Just click on the movie link and check the page. Watch the film or interactive and send me a message letting me know you did it. I will add the points to your next test.

Why do we use it?

We use mass communitaction like this because it is easier to get in touch with students who are out of school. I can answer questions or offer help with assignments for students outside of a classroom setting. Education is a full time job.
